Synopsis *The Bowls New Zealand Umpires Committee is the body which looks after the training and certification of, and the general administration for, bowls umpires within New Zealand.

This practical handbook contains information which helps the tutors during their preparations for, and delivery of, the course. The agenda consists of ten training units and a series of six question papers - answers to which are supplied.

Although aimed at umpire tutors, this lucidly written and well structured publication will be of interest to all flat green bowlers as a demanding test of their knowledge of the laws, even allowing for the fact that it predates the latest version of the Laws of the Sport of Bowls.
