Synopsis Ricky Dunne has coached in New Zealand for over 20 years and has attained the following standards of proficiency: NZBA Club and Senior Levels (1 and 2), Bowls NZ Levels (1, 2 and 3) and Coaching NZ (Levels 1, 2 and 3). During this time he has gained the trust and credibility of many noted players.

This well illustrated A5 booklet is presented as a series of 24 topics or, in Ricky's words, 'iKeys' - an analogy used to auto-suggest that any randomly chosen iKey may open a door to information and suggestions that perhaps will self-motivate players and/or teams to prepare, plan and enjoy their gametime to the fullest. iKeys such as 'line', 'length' and 'bowl speed' need little explanation, but are listed with others such as 'zone', 'awareness' and 'periodisation' that are much less obvious, yet nevertheless important.

Above all this is a self-help practical and motivational handbook for bowlers who wish to improve their skill levels and is enhanced by several pages of line illustrations, including a number of head conversion and other skill exercises - many of which are seldom found in other coaching manuals. And its handy A5 format facilitates its ease of transportation in a bowls bag for convenient reference on the green.
